What happens after I send my quote?
After you submit your quote, the customer receives an email informing them that you have sent a quote and they have the option to view your quote. The customer may choose to call, email, or message any of the professionals who have sent a quote.
You can also send a follow-up message to the customer by opening up the quote and creating a new message.
Does the customer receive my contact information?
When you submit a quote, the customer will receive your contact information. This includes your name, email, and phone number associated with your service, along with your profile, reviews, and your quote message. We do not share your business address.
Can I call the customer after I send a quote?
If the customer has added a phone number to their request, you will be able to see that number. If the customer chose not to provide a phone number, you can contact them by sending them a messages via StarOfService. These messages will be sent to the customer's email.
You can always ask the customer for their direct phone number in a follow-up message. One way you can do this is to let the customer know you'd like additional information, and that discussing their project over the phone or meeting in person is usually the best way to do this. There is no limit on how long you can communicate with the customer.
