If you're receiving requests that you feel don't match the location of your business (the customer requests you're receiving are too far, or they're not far enough), make sure you're preferred travel radius settings are correct for your business.
Changing these preferences will also change how many requests you receive in general. If you aren't receiving very many customer requests, setting a higher travel preference will most likely send you more customer requests and vice versa.
Here's how to check your travel radius preferences:
- Log in to your StarOfService account.
- Click on Edit to the right of your business name and address (middle of page), then select Business Info and scroll down to Where do you meet your clients?
- Now you can select your travel preferences. You will need to have I travel to my customers selected in order to edit how far you are willing to travel. Use the drop-down menu to update your travel radius.
- Click Save and continue to save your changes.
