How to have a perfect profile Follow
Creating a good profile takes time, but it will be worth it. Your profile allows you to stand out from the competition and helps customers to tell themselves that you are the best professional for their request.
First impression is important, especially when you are competing against hundreds of online professionals.
To set up your profile, go to the Profile tab.
1. Introduce yourself
1. a. Update your profile picture
Customers appreciate seeing who they are going to work with and your profile picture is the perfect piece to prove it to them. Add a good-quality picture of yourself smiling.

1. Go to the Profile tab.
2. Click on Edit, next to your name
3. Upload your photo by clicking on Update photo.
1. b. Add an introduction
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll down until you see Your introduction
- Click edit
- Click on Save, after making the necessary changes.
This is just an introduction so keep your description short and friendly. If you want to say more, you can complete the section Questions and Answers.
It's the small details that make the difference. Provide details in your introduction that allow you to stand out. If you are into DYI, do not say you're a good handyman. Emphasize that you are good at mounting furniture or repairing fixtures. Are you a yoga teacher? Say what is your favorite yoga position?
2. Build your reputation
Customers carefully read client reviews before making a decision. To get started, try to get at least 10 reviews from your old customers (on StarOfService and outside StarOfService) to build your reputation and credibility.

After receiving some client reviews, you can go one step further to impress your customers. Respond to reviews on your profile: Customers will directly see that you're listening and paying attention to client feedback.
3. Add your price-lists
Your price list allows you to make the first contact. By giving your clients an up-front price you give them context. And when they contact you, all you have to do is convince them that you are THE perfect professional for their request.

4. Stand out in the crowd
