How to Install the StarOfService Web App

To install the StarOfService web app on your device, follow these steps depending on the type of device you are using.

On Android (via Google Chrome):

  1. Open Google Chrome on your device.
  2. Go to the StarOfService website by typing the URL in the address bar.
  3. Once the page has loaded, tap on the menu (three vertical dots) at the top right of the screen. 
  4. In the dropdown menu, select "Add to Home screen".
  5. A confirmation message will appear, allowing you to rename the app if you wish, then tap "Add".
  6. The web app icon will appear on your home screen, and you can launch it like a regular app.
  7. Enable Notifications from your StarOfService account:
    1. Click on your profile picture
    2. At the bottom of the screen, click on Notifications
    3. Click on Enable

On iOS (via Safari):

  1. Open Safari on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Go to the StarOfService website by typing the URL.
  3. Once the page has loaded, tap the share icon (an upward arrow in a square) located at the bottom of the screen.
  4. In the menu that appears, select "Add to Home Screen".
  5. You can rename the app if you wish, then tap "Add".
  6. The web app icon will appear on your home screen and will behave like a native app.
  7. Enable Notifications from your StarOfService account:
    1. Click on your profile picture
    2. At the bottom of the screen, click on Notifications
    3. Click on Enable

On PC or Mac (via Google Chrome):

  1. Open Google Chrome on your computer.
  2. Go to the StarOfService website.
  3. Click on the menu (three vertical dots) in the top right corner of Chrome.
  4. Select "Install StarOfService" or "Create a shortcut", depending on the available options.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to add the app to your desktop.
  6. Enable Notifications from your StarOfService account:
    1. Click on your profile picture
    2. At the bottom of the screen, click on Notifications
    3. Click on Enable

These steps should allow you to install and use the StarOfService web app on your device.
